How to get started (3 steps)
- Upload your Fidelity CSVs — Transaction history plus a positions file on Upload & analyze.
- Run analysis — Builds income charts, market value, holdings, and optional live grades.
- Explore — Use Dashboard pages for your account, Tools for research (any ticker, ETFs, compare).

Quick tips
- Leave the Start DividendsHQ App window open while you browse.
- After new CSVs, click Run analysis so dashboards update.
- ⓘ icons explain scores and metrics in plain English — also see Help → glossary.
- “Market proxy” on a grade means public dividend history, not that you owned the shares.

Look up any ticker for a payout-consistency grade (A–D) ⓘ. Defaults to market dividend history ⓘ (you do not need to have owned it). If that symbol appears in your uploaded Fidelity files, your real ⓘ ownership window is applied automatically.

Dashboard
- Income
- Dividend cash you received: totals, monthly and cumulative charts, top payers, and sold positions excluded from grades.
- Market value
- Account value from your positions export, cost basis, gain/loss for a selected timeframe, growth chart, and holdings by value.
- Grades
- A–D payout-consistency grades for open holdings (ownership window when available). Click a row for category breakdown.
- Monthly
- Symbol × month dividend matrix. Filter by open/sold and pay frequency (monthly, quarterly, etc.).
- Holdings
- Per-ticker income summary joined to grades and position metrics when available.
- Ticker detail
- Deep dive on one symbol: grade, categories, metrics, and portfolio dividends by month if it appears in your analysis.
Tools
- Grade any ticker
- Look up any ticker for an A–D grade. Uses market dividend history by default; if that symbol is in your Fidelity uploads, your ownership window is used.
- ETF look-through
- See the A–D payout profile of the top holdings inside a dividend ETF, plus fund sector weights when available.
- Compare
- Side-by-side comparison of 2–4 stocks or ETFs on grade, yield, approximate dividend growth, and category points.

Tips
- Keep the Start DividendsHQ App window open while you use the site (usually
http://127.0.0.1:8888/). - After uploading new CSVs, click Run analysis (or Refresh analysis) so dashboards update.
- Gain/loss (YTD) on Market value follows the timeframe filter; Vs cost basis is all-time vs Fidelity cost.
- Ad-hoc grades that say market proxy do not mean you owned that ticker.

Data & privacy
In this local/prototype deployment, account data and uploaded CSVs are stored on the machine running the DividendsHQ app for your signed-in workspace. Do not upload files you are not authorized to process. Protect your login credentials. Production cloud hosting, backups, and privacy policy details will be published separately when the service is offered online.
